Fishing Report May 08, 2008 Voyager Fishing Fleet Calabash, NC-Little River & Myrtle Beach, SC Fishing Report by Capt. Larry H. Both Voyager & Super Voyager had a great day in the Gulf Stream on Wednesday May 7th, Voyager was on a Blue Water trolling trip, the weather was great and the fishing was even better, Big Wahoo up to 70 lbs, plenty of Mahi-Dolphins 20 - 30 lb class, and some large Ocean King Mackerel mixed in. This offshore Blue Water Trolling is only going to get better in the next few weeks, now is the time to book a spectacular offshore adventure! Gulf Stream Bottom fishing was excellent, Capt. Bob had the Super Voyager out at the Gulf Stream yesterday, the Stringers were full of nice size Red Beeliner Snappers, Grunts, Large Sea Bass, Jolt Head Porgies, Scamp Groupers, Rudderfish, they also had Big Cobia, Bonita Tuna and King Mackerel. The Gulf Stream Bottom Fishing seems to be getting better every trip, the offshore water temps. are increasing every day, and the fishing is really going to fire up!! This Saturday is our 24 Hour Gulf Stream trip, the weather sounds great for Saturday May, 10, If you want to fill your frezzer with some great eating fish, this is the trip, we still have spots available, Call Capt. Larry at 910-575-0111 We will start running 12 Hr. GULF STREAM TRIPS every Wednesday & Saturday, departing at 7:AM and returning at 7:PM These trips are producing excellent catches of Red Beeliner Snappers, Hog Snappers, Pink Snappers, Jolt Head Porgies, Grunts, Several Types of Grouper, Triggerfish, Large Sea Bass, Amberjacks and Pompano. Everything you need for fishing is provided for you on every trip. Rods, reels, bait, tackle, ice, license.  There is plenty of room on the boat with air-conditioned cabin.  Full galley on board with drinks, snacks, and food. We have a great crew on board, to help you all day.   24 Hr. Trips are a big hit on SUPER VOYAGER II  On these trips, you will catch plenty of Large Beeliner Snappers, Hog Snappers,  Grunts, Silver Snappers, Jolt Head Porgies, Pompano, Triggerfish, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Strawberry Grouper, and Large Amberjacks, Cobia and Mahi-Dolphin, King Mackerel will be caught on Drift Lines. The next 24 hr trip will be  May 10, leaving the Dock at 8AM on Saturday and returning Sunday morning at 8AM. We will have another 24 Hour trip on June 14,These trips sell out because, we limit the boat to 45 people and you have plenty of fishing time. $170.00  per person. Our Sport Fishing Charter Boat, Voyager has been running 13 hour Blue Water Trolling trips, in the past couple of weeks, the Blue Water fishing has turned on! , plenty of Big Wahoo up to 75 lbs, Blackfin & Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi-Dolphin and large Ocean King Mackerel are filling up the Box. Plenty of King Mackerel, Gag Grouper, Amberjacks, Red Snappers, Grunts, Large Ocean Sea Bass, Triggerfish, Rudderfish and other great eating fish are being caught on our 8 & 10-11 Hour Gulf Stream charter trips, with the warm weather and the water temps. offshore warming up. The offshore fishing is really starting to fire up! On our 1/2 & 3/4 day Sportfishing Charters, The Spanish Mackerel bite is on, we are trolling for Spanish Mackerel, within 5 miles of the beach, in the next week, we should see King Mackerel being caught on these trips.    Now is the time to book a spectacular offshore fishing adventure!!
